[email protected] for booking or info!All these music videos (little as they may be) do not really feature me or my music but are with me as a sideman on mostly 1-2 time gigs without rehersals with friends that I have been lucky to jam with from time to time. One day when I make enough money or find the right place, I'll feature my own projects. I do my own projects when I can and love the freedom to lead.I was lucky enough to perform with David Longoria (he recently won a Hollywood music award) @ The Key Club, Dec. 15th W/red carpet for the Salvation Army Benefit in Hollywood (children in need).Island reggae stars Big Every Time (B.E.T.) hired me to put a horn trio to record this song "trust in me". The song had sucess on the radio here in Hawaii as well as making cd sales.This is The Blue Light Funk Band. We played at the Chez Monique club in Pealridge this time. We rarely rehersed so its like improvised to some extent, everybody just using their ears. The lead singer Gyn is quite a character! I'm the buzzed head trumpet player improvising,lol.You'll have to wait cuz i'm only playing near the end. this is without rehersal playing with amber ricci's dragonfly band at jazz minds. amber ricci is super, she teaches yoga and has nifty parties at her hawaii kai estate for orphans and halloween costumes too. she's all over, she does a singles workshop and is linked in with the holistic community in Oahu too as well!If you want you can read a little about me you may. People have been hiring me to perform on the trumpet since the age of 10. I have performed music with most of the top call musicians in the Honolulu area and performed with many bands ranging from nearly every style of music, recording professionaly with a handful of them. In elementary school the teachers would pull me out of my usual school classes to perform for their groups around town, awarding me with an outstanding musician award. Similarly in Highschool I was awarded and passed auditions, performing in the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic and the Tournament of Roses Parade Honor Band, being similarly outstandingly awarded and recieving awards from Bank of America, United States Marines, and a scholorship from the Womans Association of Santa Monica, etc. I also have college experience, recording and performing in competitions (2nd place in Reno, Nevada for jazz quintet), being nominated to play trumpet for the 2006 California collegiate Jazz honor band (for the California State University circut). I've recorded for jazz big band in Fullerton Junior College and California State University of Bakerfield, performing original music in small groups with them as well. Also perfoming annually in Hawaii state and local Jazz Festivals, freelancing with numerous professional musicians and bands in Hawaii and California ranging from many styles of music. I have recently been somewhat of a college nomad, attending colleges and universities, playing in different bands under scholoship for the trumpet. I have studied the trumpet with Charley Davis(he toured with Buddy Rich), James Linahon (previous musical ambassador on trumpet for China), Steve Crum (professional
