Jizzy grew up on the Sunset Strip in the late 80's, which was better than any GIT or music school. In 1985 Jizzy joined LOVE/HATE and after 4 1/2 years of struggle and starvation got signed to SONY/ COLUMBIA RECORDS. In 1989 LOVE/HATE recorded what would be their best record --BLACKOUT IN THE RED ROOM--BLACKOUT IN THE RED ROOM was released in 1990 and LOVE/HATE went out on the road for 10 solid months touring the US and Europe, especially the UK where the band got an amazing reception. LOVE/HATE started out playing clubs, then theaters, then 10,000-seaters with DIO and finally arenas opening for AC/DC. What a fuckin' year that was...
In 1991 LOVE/HATE moved to New York City to record their second record WASTED IN AMERICA. For three months Love/Hate lived in an awesome 3-story "Real World-style" loft in Greenwich Village hosting some of the finest parties and hanging out every night at the SCRAP BAR and The LIMELIGHT. WASTED IN AMERICA came out in 1992 and LOVE/HATE toured the world again with SKID ROW, DIO, and OZZY OSBOURNE. In 1992 Love/Hate's original guitarist quit and was replaced by DARREN HOUSEHOLDER and with Householder LOVE/HATE recorded their third record LET'S RUMBLE. The song SPINNING WHEEL was really strong on rock radio so once again LOVE/HATE jumped on the Rock 'n' Roll Bus and took it to the masses...
In 1995 LOVE/HATE put out their last collaborative effort I'M NOT HAPPY which was a prophetic title for the band broke up shortly afterwards. In 1998 Jizzy joined LA GUNS and put out one record- SHRINKING VIOLET. In 1999 Jizzy also released his first book I GOT MORE CRICKETS THAN FRIENDS. It was a success; he sold them all.
In 2000 Jizzy joined RATT and sang for them for 6 years. As well as touring full-time wiith RATT Jizzy released two books and two solo records in that time, ANGST FOR THE MEMORIES in 2002 and UNHAPPY ENDINGS in 2005. Jizzy's two solo records are JUST A BOY and VEGAS MUST DIE.
In 1998 Jizzy resurrected Love/Hate from the ashes, putting out LET'S EAT in 1999 and touring the UK in 2003, 2004 & 2006. In 2007 Jizzy called his old Love/Hate bandmates back together for 3 reunion shows. That was a whole lot of fun. Three-fourths of the Originals went to the UK in December 2007 for a 6 show reunion tour and unfortunately the old adage "You can't go Home again" proved all too true. But I try to remember the Good Times, never the Bad. Jizzy lives in Las Vegas now and is grateful to all the friends and fans for 20 years of awesome memories.
