I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm on holiday or I'm an immigrant. Time will decide which.

I've got a quick tongue. I speak my thoughts before I think them. Gets me in trouble sometimes but what you see is what you get. I'm honest. I'm genuine. I'm smart and I'm funny. I think. But you probably think you are too. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Read on.

I love chattin' and chillin'. i enjoy the occasional (hah!) pint and i play and watch as much footie as possible. I've got a global interest in social, political, economic and environmental issues, though in truth much of what i see and hear continues to blow my mind. And not in the positive sense.

My Interests

Bars, movies, soccer, politics (of everything)... I love laughing, thinking, touching, tasting.

I'd like to meet:

Hypothetically, if I was to pick one person, it would have to be my main man Buddy Christ. We'd go for a pint and I'd ask him how such a good idea went so badly wrong.

My Comment Box
Drop me a line, I know you're a lazy cunt:

* Any objections to the use of the word 'cunt' will be dealt with via this form. The management realize the senstivity of this word and will respond immediately to any cunt who has a problem with it.

Movies:

Fight Club, The Matrix & Animatrix, Donnie Darko, Amelie, Garden State, Zoolander ... again, give me something that makes me think or makes me laugh.

Television:

This. This! This!!! This. .... Father Ted, Phoenix Nights (find out!), Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, Ireland or Liverpool soccer matches, BBC News and Democracy Now... okay, that's a radio show (89.3FM 'till 9am) but it deserves recognition.

Books:

1984, Animal Farm, Sophie's World..... I would like to read more but dont. Figures...

Heroes:

Damien Duff, Paul McGrath, Niall Quinn (The Giant) and of course the seemingly small people in my life with real character. Sting is another hero of mine. The music that he's created over the years - I don't really listen to it. But the fact that he's making it, I respect that.
