I started painting Pinups in crayon when I was in school. No wonder my portfolio was very popular among teachers and the other schoolmates. Very early I bought a book from Hajime Sorayama. Soon his art was a great inspiration for me. But actually it was my grandmom who I admired most. She used to be a local landscape painter but most stunning were her Vargas like classic pinups that she did in the 60's.
In the year 2000 I switched to digital painting and discovered the graphic tablet which is my major tool for colouring now. I still do make sketches in crayon finding a right pose or proportions, as I often mix up poses with different faces, hairstyle and clothing.
I love the art of portraying the female form and even if most of my pinups are scantly dressed I'd like to find a balance between erotic expression and respect in my paintings.
I soon will launch an official website. Please visit my gallery at Deviant Art, where you can see my paintings uncensored. My gallery is still small there but it is growing soon.
