JSS was conceived after many days, weeks, and years of street teaming for major music festivals, venue shows, and other musical events. We thought "Who else could be the best liaison's between the fans, bands, venues, and festivals?"

October's STREET TEAM MEMBER OF THE MONTH: Billie Jo Betit

At Jam Street Solutions we appreciate the hard work and input of all of our street team representatives. What propels these efforts is an attitude of wanting, with a passion, to help our local music scene grow and continue to succeed at every level. Jam Street Solutions chose Billie as our street teamer of the month because she exemplifies this passion toward volunteering whole-heartedly. Her passion for music “surpasses anything in life” she says. Seeing shows, reading reviews, and sharing the latest musical news is the fuel that drives Billie to participate effortlessly as a Jam Street Solutions Representative, and even as spokesperson for the cause. “I try to encourage others to help in the music scene and go see LIVE MUSIC as much as possible.” Thanks Billie for joining us at Jam Street Solutions and for your commitment that, like our music, comes straight from the heart.

October's BAND OF THE MONTH: French Horn Rebellion

Jam Street Solutions is blissful to present French Horn Rebellion as our October band of the month. Their fresh, up beat electro pop beats and whimsical lyrics make for some snappy dance hall grooves. French Horn Rebellion hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is composed of Robert Perlick –Molinari on lead vocals, keyboards and French horn and David Perlick-Molinari on vocals, keys and programming. They add Paul Hammer on drums and Deidre Muro on vocals for their “Live Arsenal”. There self titled CD and single “Up all Night” is making its way around campuses throughout the country and has earned them the distinction of being one of ten college bands to open for the Black Keys, The Raconteurs, and Bob Dylan at the American Eagle Outfitters Music Festival of 2008. Other accolades include being chosen as finalists in the CMJ National Collegiate Music Competition earlier this year, FHR were “featured on MTVu’s “Ahead of the Curve” at the SXSW Music Festival and have sold out shows around the globe. Jam Street Solutions urges you to tune in to French Horn Rebellion and start an electronic revolution in your world.

October's VENUE OF THE MONTH: Cain's Ballroom

Since 1924, Cain’s Ballroom located in Tulsa, Oklahoma has played host to the legends that carve the landscape of contemporary music. From American icons such as Bob Wills and Roy Rogers to the historic 1978 performance by Great Britain’s The Sex Pistols, Cain’s is the place for musical history in the making. October's ASSOCIATE OF THE MONTH: FOXFIRE MAGIK & thy faery PRANKSTERS

Beginning this month Jam Street Solutions adds the Associate of the Month to our reviews. Associates are our peers, folks who do what they do with the kind of giving, free thinking, move the thing forward a couple of steps attitude we embrace at Jam Street Solutions. For October, Jam Street Solutions welcomes FOXFIRE MAGIK & thy faery PRANKSTERS. This group of fire dancers, musicians, and visual performance artists travel the country putting on a variety of happenings that celebrate and continue the legacy of The Merry Pranksters. Their mission is “to heal the world one flame at a time providing a performance of music and fire shows and weaving a web of unity”. FOXFIRE MAGIK & thy faery Pranksters are superb entertainers who use their dance, music, and art to bring the message of freedom to all who participate. Jam Street Solutions respects the endeavors of FOXFIRE MAGIK & thy faery Pranksters and encourages everyone to actualize their artistic impressions without boundaries or limits… and most certainly with love.
