Jayson Belt

Bio:
Jayson Belt has been a songwriter for almost 10 years. His music has been featured in primetime television, major motion pictures and independent surf films. While playing with his former band, The Red West, he toured with an eclectic group of artists including Dashboard Confessional, the Dave Matthews Band, Silverchair, Ours, OAR, Maroon 5, Head Automatica, Counting Crows, Something Corporate, and the 2004 Vans Warped Tour, among many others. After touring for the better part of 3 years, The Red West went in to studio for a second album but unfortunately, never made it back out.
Jayson is currently working on the culmination of some of the songs from that second TRW record and a mix of his new stuff that he's been writing for the past two years with friend and producer, Bob Hartry. These songs will complete a double album called, Poor Penmanship, which will be released in summer of '08.
