James Wade Artist Bio: James Wade, b. March 1st 1982, Elk City Oklahoma. An Emcee, Songwriter and accomplished performing artist with a talent for wordplay unlike anyone to date complimented by a voice that penetrates the soul of any audience, from all cultures. Writing since the age of 16 and recording from the age of 19, James Wade’s back-story is extensive and riddled with hardships the young artist had to overcome, which is reflected in his music filled with unique and heart felt experiences. A representative of Compton's own METAMORPHOSIS, and The Watts Prophets legendary group The HIP HOP POETRY CHOIR, James Wade is a lyricist’s lyricist. After countless group singles and mixtape material with Metamorphosis (myspace.com/metamorphosismusic), James Wade embarked on his first solo project “Gimme My Cut” in summer 06’ Produced entirely by West Coast Beat Guru 1Man (of Outworld), which has sold thousands of copies in the streets to date and is very popular amongst JW’s now cult-like following. Shortly thereafter, James Wade along with Malachi of The Dungeon Family, created the timeless classic ATL.A (myspace.com/atlatv) bridging Los Angeles with Atlanta GA.
