Daniel Waite

I'm Daniel Waite from Burbank, California. I've been playing guitar since I was 13, back in 1978. My style and genres vary from acoustic rock-based guitar pieces, acoustic blues, country, and blues/country to full-on plugged-in blues. For my solo work, I usually play with a modified finger-picking style, and usually chord with a 12 string. Sometimes I change it up and do the opposite, or sometimes I throw in some electric guitar for fun like on "The Blue Sky". I enjoy collaborating with many artists from Soundclick, like Claude Larente, Kurt Lewis Neufer, and Tammy Swindell. Many of my blues songs are the collaborative work of myself and George Irwin and his son Ian. Ian is responsible for the awesome B3 organ, and hot piano sounds on "Beale St. Blues", and "Rain In My Pockets", and George plays a mean blues harp on "Track No. 9".
