So you missed Mabe In America?
Everyday we get tons of emails from folks just learning about the show. They either caught a rerun or heard about it from a buddy or something. Nonetheless, the response has been so overwhelming that the bigwigs at CMT have put together two new episodes of Mabe In America. These shows are packed with back to back bits from the first season.
In the meanwhile, Jimbo and I are writing some of the best bits we have ever written.
Jimbo and I got to laughing last night and couldn't stop. We were yappin bout the good old days when we were kids.
One winter me and Jimbo would build snow forts and snowman's in my front yard. There was this older kid that lived on our street that drove a big pickup truck. Everyday after spending hours building the perfect snow fort or snowman this jerk would run them down with his big truck.
So one day, Jim and I got a plan to get a little revenge on this guy. We built the best snow fort ever over a fire hydrant!
That night we went into my house and waited by the living room window watching and waiting for four wheel drive guy to come knock down our snow fort. I remember this like it was yesterday, The Wonderful world of Disney was just coming on, we were going to watch the Shaggy DA when he came sliding down the road doing at least 60 on the ice when all of a sudden boom!!!!!! He hit the fort and fire hydrant! His truck got stuck on the fire hydrant, neighbors were flying out of their houses to see this Ford Fountain! (Water was spewing out from underneath) The cops came, it was great!
