Rocky Springs

About Me

After working with numerous top 40 country bands in the 1980's and early 90's Rocky decided it was time to get back to the roots of his music. A love for bluegrass and gospel music prompted Rocky to start playing the Dobro or resonator guitar in 1992 and he hasn’t looked back since. Considered by many one of the best resonator guitarists in an area full of great reso-guitarists shows great love and dedication to his music. Rocky has worked with the Sounds of Grass for the past ten years, mostly playing the resort areas of Charleston and Myrtle Beach SC. During this time they have worked with almost every top name in bluegrass music. Lately gospel music has been a prominent part of the music that Rocky plays for other artists’ recordings and his own performances.
