Chalmers Davis, a native of Jackson, Ms. started playing the piano at the age of 5. By age 14 he started playing in various bands that led to him being in Mariah and Natural High. He gained studio experience by joining the North American Recording Studio Rhythm Section formed in Jackson and also recording at Malaco Records. In 1979 this rhythm section got an opportunity to become Fame Recording Studio’s new rhythm section in Muscle Shoals, Al. owned by the legendary Rick Hall. In 1980 he continued his education at the University of North Alabama where he graduated magna cum laude in Commercial Music, Business, and Photography in 1982. During this time he also furthered his recording experiences in other studios in Muscle Shoals and Nashville where he played on hundreds of albums and top-ten singles.

Chalmers’ musical travels have taken him through all 50 U.S. states and to France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.
For the past 19 years he has been recording and touring with Little Richard, the architect and originator of rock and roll.
He owns Chazmosis Music Publishing and Windy Ridge Music that houses his studio where he records and teaches.
