The Joe & Jerry Show

About Me

Joe & Jerry have been playing the Greater Peoria area for over 8 years now, and were part of the initial acoustic movement in the area. Playing at almost all of Peoria's Rocktoberfest's and May Lei pub crawls, Joe & Jerry satisfy their fans with both modern and classic favorites. Taking requests, cracking jokes, and drinking shots with the crowd, they are guaranteed to please.
Summer comes and goes, and the winter weather is finally upon us. What's with that snow already this year, anyway? But with the winter weather comes Sam Adams Winter Ale. You can bet that Jerry will always keep a six-pack on hand in case of emergencies. We have developed quite the fans this fall, as the OSF College of Nursing girls now frequent the shows. Believe me guys.. these girls are fine! So come out, see a show, and have a drink with us this winter! I won't tell Santa...

Thanks go out to everyone who voted for us in the River City Times BEST of 2006 poll. Because of you, WE WON!!! That’s right, folks! Joe & Jerry was voted as the favorite local acoustic act!

JOE ROBISON
Joe has been playing the guitar for over 10 years now and and has the upmost taste in groovin acoustic rock. He participated in choir in HS, and now can hit some high notes that could shatter glass. Using his favorite delay, Joe strives to mimic the legendary Tim Reynolds’ lead guitar.

JERRY WEBB
Jerry has also been playing guitar for over 10 years now, and keeps up to date with all of today’s best music. Singing since he was a child, he his elastic voice can last all night. In fact, a lot of people think he sounds like Dave Matthews. Jerry is also the lead singer of the fast-growing band called Up 4 Grabs .

Influences: Dave Matthews Band, Maroon 5, John Mayer, Ryan Adams, The Killers, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Landon Durst, Alice in Chains, oh, and Dave Matthews Band, of course.
Sounds Like: Two guys performing acoustic cover songs.
Record Label: Sticky

The acoustic life

Ah, the life on an acoustic guitar is usually boring. Many hours, even days spent in a case in the corner of a room. Occasionally, my master takes me out to play for a while, tunes me, even changes ...
