Bigfoot - Saturday Night Hustle OUT NOW!

About Me

I'm 16 years old and live in Bury, just outside of Manchester, UK. I've been writin' rap music for bout 5 years now. I first started by just writin' random pieces of verses and then eventually puttin' together complete songs. I didn't start recordin' my tracks till December 2004 when I also set up my own independent record label - Get Phat Productions. From then till September 2006 I was workin' tryin' to establish myself as an artist, find my style, find a few artists to work with on Get Phat and then by the time September 2006 came I released my first mini-project: United Blingdom. I admit, it wasn't too great, mainly coz I didn't have much experience of recordin'. By February 2007 I'd got to grips with things a bit more and released my new EP - The Mic Check 1,2 EP. The original idea of the EP was to promote myself to labels such as Sway's DCypha Productions however I then turned it into a commerical release. There was also an amateur video shot for Loose Change (using camera phones) and a slideshow presentation for Dreams. From then till August 2007 it was major work on my debut mixtape, Music To Die For. Up until this point I hadn't put any of my CD's in shops, I'd just been sellin' them personally to people. However, this time, I wanted more, so I asked the very kind people at Vibes (Bury) and Eastern Bloc (Manchester) if they would stock Music To Die For and they agreed. Towards the end of August, me and one of Get Phat's other artists, Frenzi, went to The New Kershaw Centre in Bury to work on a track called Am I Dreamin' with a few other people (thanks Liz, Siobhan and especially Gilly). After that we went to the Dawn To Dusk event at Clarence Park, Bury and performed our first two live shows. First one was good but the second one was so much better. I did bout 6 tracks off Music To Die For, includin' Loose Change, Represent Dat, Talento Europeo and more. I also did an exclusive remix with Adam MC plus a freestyle with Lil G, Leightz and Dwayno befo' me and Frenzi finished off with No Introduction. On January 11th 2008 I officially became part of Sway's DCypha Productions label and became team leader of the North West team. In March 2008 I started to organise a concert alongside Tony from Bury Youth Service to help raise money for charity (Bury Young Carers). The concert was held on 17th July and featured performances by Beast Within, Rocky, Get Phat Productions, The Counter Culture and KABOOM! We raised over £600 in total and the night was a complete success. I am now workin' on my second mixtape entitled One Dream At A Time. It will include tracks with Fedarro, Emily Clothier and many more. Plus production from FreQBeatz, I'm A Dot In Place and LemmeFunkWitIt Music. I am also workin' on tracks for several other artists mixtapes includin' Trikz, Troopa, Li-Tul.D, Frenzi, Yunga KTM and more!DCCYYYYPPPHHHAAAA, let's get it!EMAIL: [email protected] for bookings, collabs etc
