Reggaeneracija radio show – Promoting reggae vibes in Montenegro
The first reggae radio show in Montenegro-Reggaeneracija- has been on the air in Montenegro since September 2002.Radio station Antena M airs it on Wednesdays, from 20:00 to 22:00.Hosted and created by Dadaman-pioneer of reggae culture in Montenegro-this radio show has been spreading roots & culture vibes all over this country.
The beginning was very difficult – since in Montenegro there were no shops selling reggae materials whatsoever, Dadaman was unable to present new reggae issues to his audience so the first shows were mostly dedicated to a various reggae legends whose music was part of his own reggae collection. Then he started contacting reggae labels all over the world and Reggaeneracija started growing. At the same time new Montenegrin reggae maniacs emerged – Terba,Reggae Raven,Chele,Dule,Bredda Cobration,Fetah Vibe,Rex Reggis…They started playing reggae in the clubs, starting new radio shows ,hosting dj’s from abroad… In 2006 Dadaman was producer on project called “Nero Wolf Experience†- the first Montenegrin home made reggae.
Today ,Reggaeneracija radio show is a reggae institution in Montenegro – we receive promo materials every day from around 60 labels all over the world; we are playing newest reggae hits in clubs all over our country; we are promoters for various reggae festivals; we are presenting newest reggae riddims & artists to our audience in Montenegro.
We are a reggae link between Montenegro and the rest of the world!
