SINTHETICFATE is the conception of the artificial inseminating the organic. It is the manmade imposing on nature until nature is forced to conform to the patterns of a replicatable world.
To summarize Plato in his Cave Allegories, we are surrounded by shadows, insubstantial images with no actual meaning other than one assigned by the light bearers. Many do not realize that they merely exist in this realm created by the glowing gods of media. The images these gods portray are only a filtered, watered down truth intended to sway your decisions to their will. They force society into a box of complacency by sharing only half truths, if that, believing "Many people would sooner die than think; in fact, they do so." (Bertrand Russell) One goal of the project SINTHETICFATE is to remove the lid from the box, to show the listener a path outside the cave, to create an awareness of the world around us and to let the listener decide what to do with the information. As Freud states, "The Truth is far more powerful than any weapon of mass destruction." We create our OWN realities. We can’t sit idly by and let the artificial world deprive us of our sunlight.
The other goal of SINTHETICFATE is to offer hope- on both a macro- and microcosmic scale. Just as we create our own realities, we influence the outcomes. The intensity of the truth outside the cave can be blinding at first, but it’s not the end you might think it is. Have hope. Your vision of the world will improve in the light. You will see with a depth never before imagined. And you will survive. SINTHETICFATE believes "the wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future" (Herbert Spencer). He shares his personal experiences in the hopes of helping others through similar encounters. SINTHETICFATE seeks to construct songs as a cathartic experience for both himself and the listener, allowing for a purging of emotion in a way yet unthought-of. "The task is not so much to see what no one yet has seen, but to think what no body yet has thought about that which everyone sees" (Arthur Schopenhauer).SINTHETICFATE’s music is a combination of Industrial, Electronic, and Metal, marrying the unorthodox sounds of the electronic and mechanical and cohesively blending them with the identifiable. His influence is the urgency of the mechanical sound united with the familiarity of the organic. G. Ram has worked on several different projects starting at age 16 with the band STATIC, to working with Kennan Keating on an industrial rock/metal project called THICK, to his most recent endeavors- SINTHETICFATE and SOULTRESS with Genesis Adria under ELECTRICDOMAIN Records.
