The Truth:And in the darkest days, mankind was left for dead from the neck up and forgotten by those who should have cared. Left to wander in the wilderness, hungry and strung out, lost in the abyss of nothingness, and jones'n for a needle to the vein fix of True Funk known only to The D.R.U.G. (Dwellers of the Righteous UnderGround) as The Truth. Righteous words of wisdom spat upon ones soul to enlighten and open the closed mind. Longing for the taste from another distant time; the original Keepers of The Truth had to be found. For the keepers were sworn by the sacred vow that The Truth Shall Be Told by any means necessary. Exiled long ago in the last millennium, the task to find the keepers would prove to be very difficult. Therefore, The D.R.U.G. called upon the ancient way of wisdom to be at one with a higher spiritual self and thus became acknowledged from within as Seekers during this metamorphosis. The Seekers (believers of the open mind) began to search the wild for these Lost Gods of Funk to find this truth and quench their thirst for salvation. In this quest for fulfillment a unified global consciousness was re-born. A Third Eye Movement of righteous rebellion for free flowing thought to enable one to stomp out The Edit. Yet, the Whisperers (haters from another time) continued to spew negative notions to the unopened mind that The Truth did not exist and that the search of the Seekers was futile. This vain reality of the Whisperers was designed to blur the vision of the mission until ones mind was mentally out of focus, to propagate the brain into believing that music is not what you like, but what you are programmed to listen to. Unfazed by this diatribe, The Seekers remained true to their beliefs. While never succumbing to the oppression of the Whisperers, The Seekers followed their own minds as they explored the universe, destined to find these warriors of sound to bring them back and save Planet Earth. After searching the cosmos far and wide it had come to pass that The Truth did exist. In a galaxy not too far away in the Powerfunk Nebula on Planet X, the Tribe of Deus survived. Honoring first and far most their tribe, then secondly their planet, these prophets were venerated and known as the Disciples of D-X. After witnessing the dire needs of the seekers, D-X decided it was time to return. The cosmic warrior moniker D-XTREME was bestowed upon the tribesmen blessed with the honor of returning to Earth. They once again will attempt to rescue the Children of the Nuclear Age and save their souls. Not since the moral destruction of the mind vibe during the War of the Have-Nots has D-XTREME revealed The Truth. Once again It is time! D-XTREME, the original socio-political powerfunksters, Keepers of The Truth back from exile, here to funkafy the minds body and satisfy the palate of the soul All ye Seekers who have kept the faith and followed the quest, you have arrived in another time and space Your journey has now ended as yet another one is about to begin.
