Born in 1965 70 miles south of New Orleans (Houma, LA), I first started playing my Ma's Tupperware bowls when I learned how to hold wooden spoons (or so she said). Many, many toy drums with paper heads followed. I busted those things all the time - until I got my first snare drum at 10 years old. Joined elementary school band & played the crap outta 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' & 'Camptown Races'. Got a kit (blue Royce) at 12 & began lessons with Nolan Harris. He was a Jazz saxophonist that didn't know a thing about playing drums. Mr. Harris taught me how to read drum set music, charts, & lead sheets. My parents bought me a brand new Ludwig natural maple kit when I was 15. It's the ONLY kit I've owned since. It's been everywhere with me since I got it in 1980. After that, among other things, this stuff happened:

2002 – 2005: Private lessons & Clinician New Orleans, LA.
2005 – 2007: Faculty member at Musician’s Institute, Hollywood, CA.
2007 – present: Faculty member at Premier Music Academy, Las Vegas, NV.
