I am so tired of this desert in AZ, I am coming home to West Palm Beach, Florida after my grandaughter, Kimmie, finishes her new CD. I love my son but cant stand this desert any longer. ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL...with a Black Father and Italian Mother. I got a scholarship to Michigan University in Football. While I was there, I went to work for Motown...For Barry Gordy. That is someone who I really admired and still do. He taught me everything about music and the music buisness. After college I stayed and worked for Motown for 20 something years. I married my childhood sweetheart who went to Michigan University along with me. We had 2 beautiful boys. We lost one of them at the age of 18 and the other one is a very successful lawyer. After Motown, started to move to California.....but instead I moved to Florida and started my own record label. During 9/11 my wife was in New York in the 2nd world trade building. My son is a successful lawyer that lives in Scottsdale AZ. He asked me why dont I move to Scottsdale and be with him with his wife and 2 daughters. I built a studio 5 years ago in the Phoenix Area and moved my company here. I have 6 different artists under my label...but the main one is my grandaughter Kimmie. The one who put this myspace together for me... :) Out of all the artists I have worked with, (The Temptations, The Supremes, Gladys Knight, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Dolly Parton, Barabra Streisand, Billy Joel, Bruce Springstein, and on and on) she is the best thing that could of ever happened to me....and most people would say I am saying this just because she is my grandaughter...but I am not.
