D'Anise has been singing & writing her entire life. The Toronto born Artist has been singing infront of large crowds since the age of 3. Writing Theatre plays that were put on for the public in her hometown of Ajax, D'Anise is no stranger to the spotlight. Performing with friends in high-school airband competitions was just the beginning of bigger things to come for D'Anise. With Modeling & Acting training under her belt, D'Anise knew it was time to put the voice & the writing together and start making her 'own' Music. In 2004, with much more to sing about now, D'Anise decided to 'Try it on Her Own' and entered the Flow 93.5fm 'Soul Search Competition'. Singing "Try it on My Own", Whitney Houston, D'Anise personally delivered her demo to the Flow Studios. Chosen as one of the Top 50, D'Anise was selected to perform live at 'Top 'O The Senator' Jazz Club, downtown Toronto. Singing "You Don't Know My Name", Alicia Keys, the 'theme was set' and it was now time to start recording her own Music. D'Anise made sure to gain vocal training by the 'best', she enrolled in singing classes and took a workshop with greats Lorraine Lawson & Elaine Overholt. Now D'Anise was ready! Since 2004, D'Anise has been testing the waters of independent Recording Studios and is now extending into the Toronto & Mississauga areas to explore new styles and sounds of Production for 2007! D'Anise Performed in several successful shows in 2006 that she secured and organized independently and some with other local Artists. D'Anise received alot of great attention from the industry and media from those shows, attention that has led her to be featured in 2 Canadian Magazines; Toronto Exclusive and Gigs! D'Anise has performed live infront of Canadian Television Cameras and was selected out of thousands to perform in *CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK 2007* and had a Great Performance at Holy Joe's in Toronto!
