About Me

Hey Everyone!
My name is Kate and thanks for visiting my modeling myspace page.
I'm an aspiring model living in Corning area and a nursing student attending school in Syracuse. I’ll be in the Corning area, Horseheads to be exact, until mid-January. I’ll be attending the community college here. As for my availability, I will be free for most of the summer. I will be out of state from July Fourth until the Thirteenth. During the Fall semester, I’ll be open in the evenings, weekends, and some days during the day.
To give you an idea of my personality, I can be very serious when necessary. Being a nursing student does that for you. I've also worked as a camp counselor for children with autism and related disabilities. That job called for a mix of concentration and attention to possible problems, but also called for creativity and flexibility. After all, the idea was for the kids to have fun!
So I enjoy being spontaneous and always enjoy a creative challenge. For example, I pretty much ran the poetry club at my community college in Rochester, and I am currently still an active writer.
My friends have described me as a one-of kind individual, with a quirky sense of humor. I can take charge, but also constructive criticism.
I think modeling can be an extension of what I am already doing in my life. I'm looking forward to collaborating with other industry professionals to create powerful, and fun, images. As a newbie, I am of course looking for all the tips I can gather, so please don't hold back any advice you care to offer.
As for my preferences and limitations, I am mostly leaning toward casual lifestyle photos. Right now I would prefer to not swimwear, lingerie, or nudity at this time. I am open to TFP/CD to build my portfolio, but as nursing school is not cheap, I hope to bring in as many paid gigs as possible to help pay for school.
