McFLY is a British pop-rock band that was formed in 2004 with their number one album "Room On The Third Floor." which was followed 3 more albums called "Wonderland", "Motion In The Ocean" and their "Greatest Hits." The band have recently released their newest album called Radio:ACTIVE. McFlY were in a 20th Century Fox movie, with Lindsey Lohan called "Just My Luck." McFLY play themselves in the movie. McFLY are the youngest band to go straight to number 1 in the album charts. They took this record from the Beatles. They are managed by Prestige Management, and were signed to the Island Records label from 2003 to 2007 before creating their own label, Super Records. The band consists of:
Tom Fletcher (17 July 1985)- Lead vocals and guitar
Danny Jones (12 March 1986)- Lead vocals and quitar
Dougie Poynter (30 Novemeber 1987)- Vocals and bass
Harry Judd (23 December 1985)- Drums
Tom founded McFLY when he failed to get into "Busted". He then started writing songs with Busted member James Bourne and was asked to come along to film auditions for a new band. Tom met Danny at these auditions. The two then began writing together, and moved into the InterContinental Hotel in London for 2 months and the two began writing songs along with James Bourne. Dougie and Harry joined the band after seeing an advert in NME magazine.
