Terry Hanson

Terry Hanson was born as raised in Minneapolis, MN. He started playing drums at 3. He played drums in the Elementary School and Junior High School band. He started playing guitar in his late teens. Terry's first paid gig came when a older musician mentor friend invited Terry to join them at a gig in a rough south minneapolis bar that was a regular hang out for the local sioux indian population. Terry remembers "they didn't need me for the gig that's for sure, my friend was being cool and wanted to get me up on the stage for some experience. I remember my buddy and the drummer getting in a heated debate that night over the $10 I got paid." From that humble start Terry Hanson has gone on to tour & perform in over 20 country's. He has travel with the DOD/USO performing for the troops in remote regions of the world including Kuwait & Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Italy, & Australia. As a songwriter Terry has had some major league success. In 1995 he landing a song in the movie "Crimson Tide" staring Denzel Washington & Gene Hackman. Terry wrote under the Pseudonym Terry Moline for a brief period in the 90's. In addition Terry's songs can be heard in a number of outdoor adventure films. Terry and his band were also runner up finalist (5000 participating bands) in Willie Nelson's Farm Aid battle of the bands competition.
