WOW!!! I realize I don't have much about ME on this page, so I figured I'd change that! Well, I was born The Third Son, The Middle of five kids to an extraordinarily LOVING Mother in the Great State on NORTH CAROLINA where there's weather, good people, good ole Southern Cookin', Beautiful Beaches, Gorgeous Mountains, and most importantly SWEET TEA! Yeah, I know MOST of the country 'don't know' 'bout that but us Southern folks certainly do! I am a jokester, always have been, a great joy of mine is making people laugh! I say its a gift, it's effortless and has always been apart of me... That is, it's a gift if people haven't really been laughing at my face for all these years! I'm a passionate guy. You know, I very rarely find myself having to say "I'm sorry for saying that" to a person because I speak from the heart. I try not to use empty words that hurt people. I have made friends with people who seemed at a time to be bent on being my worst enemy. When I speak I speak from the heart! Hopefully, you'll be able to see that if you've glanced at my page! I love traveling, people and life, with all the twists, turns, ups, and downs it sometimes brings! I love the lessons learned from near failures and the strength gained from adversity. I hold to the motto that "this too will pass" and "what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger!" I've been told by people [women especially] that I'm a great guy, but for some reason I'm perpetually single.?? Those same women usually tell me it's because I'm picky! [HUGE Smile] THAT'S FUNNY!!! I'm not picky I just know what I'm worth and what I deserve, I wish more people knew that about themselves. I figure why settle??! [I put this up here for those people who ask why/how am I single.] Speaking of my pictures, "No I'm NOT Conceited!" I just like taking pictures, not to mention, what I do requires it! I love period pictures like from the Civil War era and beyond, even early 20th century pics. Hey, I won't be here forever so I want the people who come after me to be provided with an adequate amount of documentation and representation of life before their time! Come On! That's got to be making sense to someone out there! There you have it, I guess! I'm an artist, a scientist, a lover of math and now I'm finding history and politics. I love people of ALL backgrounds. Diversity is a Beautiful thing! My mother has always told me that even when I was a little boy I never met a stranger. I see the truth in that, because I see the worth in all people. I love the likenesses we share and the differences we bring to the world. We all comprise the HUMAN RACE and I'm amazed every time I consider the qualities that make us all collectively and individually unique!********************Oh one last thing! I'll share that I love standing with my feet firmly planted on the ground on a starry night. I love to feel the Earth pressing against them while I raise my head up and look at the stars. I see myself as a speck in a vast, immeasurable universe. And I stand in awe as I take in account that in the midst of such an immense Universe God considers me. He knows my Name, He's numbered the hairs on my head, and on this speck called earth in an enormous universe he regarded this seemingly insignificant life of mine precious enough to come to the earth He created, die on a cross and rise again three days later so that I too, one day and one day soon, will live with Him in His Heavenly Estate.
