About Me

Camu Tao ( Tero Smith ) will always be remembered for his uniqueness as well as his energy. Camu Tao rose to fame with the MHz crew, which also consisted of producer RJD2, emcees Copywrite, Jakki Tha Mottomouth, Tage Proto plus DJ Przm, who passed away just under a year ago as well . As the crew ascended to the ranks of the underground Hip Hop community through releases on Fondle 'Em and ABB Records, Camu would end up at High & Mighty's Eastern Conference imprint as a solo artist. There, he would record Nighthawks with Cage, after a three-day recording session. Camu was also active with Definitive Jux Records. There, he would be a part of The Weathermen crew as well as being active with Cardboard City & one half of Central Services with El-P. Along with Metro they would Come to be known as S.A. Smash. Also equally as talented behind the boards producing tracks for Cage, Aesop Rock & Slow Suicide Stimulus to name a few. Let his memory Live forever
