JZ Microphones was established in September 2007 in Latvia. Our goal was to develop modern recording equipment and high quality microphones. The main focus of the new company was in developing new product line under the JZ brand.The JZ team is comprised of some of the most ambitious and challenge orientated people in the industry. The philosophy of the JZ team is to find the best solutions for implementing a new level of sound recording. JZ are initials of our microphone designer, Juris Zarins.Juris Zarins, a designer by trade (jewelry, engineering) is the dominant figure in not only the Latvian market, but is also across the world; known for his unique and often progressive microphone designs. Having established a number of unique capsules, JZ is still working on technology for capsules of next generation.By combining modern technologies with this hand crafted and tested approach, JZ Microphones provides not only the highest quality of products but also some of the most competitive prices on the market.All JZ Microphones products are manufactured at Scruples, a high tech factory known for their long history and expertise in recording equipment manufacturing. Established in 1994, Scruples is the only factory in Latvia which is specializing in production of microphones.JZ is a versatile brand with products for everyone and anyone who is looking to produce a high quality sound, whether in as a professional setting or home studio! !
