Lola grew up a punk rock kid with a love for ska music and skateboarding. As she got older she got into singing, starting bar fights, raising a middle finger to all authority, and getting ready to set the world on fire through music!
Lola Black is the newest thing to the ever-growing colorado scene and promises to make some some serious waves in the music industry. Starting as a back-up singer and working her way to center stage Lola has already made some serious waves in the local scene!!! Headlining the Gothic for the debut show pulling in an impressive 500 or so crazed headbanging maniacs, putting on the Lola Black Masquerade Ball at 3 Kings, returning to the Gothic on a co-headlining bill with a balls out crowd of 400, and being a feature act on some of the most prominate bills in town!!!
The band members in Lola Black include some of Denver's most accomplished musicians. Crispy Chris formerly of Blister66 and MTM Records, Paige O'Meara featured in in the major motion picture S.L.C. Punk, and Eight Bucks Experiement, Joe V. formerly of Denver Heavy Weights Crusher Bound Cadillac, and break-out drumming powerhouse James Rock!!!!
Influenced by rockers such as Joan Jett, and Betty Blowtorch, mixed with NOFX, 80's metal, Punk, and Hardcore Lola Black creates a music that is hard to lump into one category but is easily accessable to all types of music fans.
