I am 38 years old and happily married to a great man named Richard Thurmond. We have four kids and their names are Kendra, Emily, Elizabeth, and Matthew. I have a son-in-law and Grandson. there names are Derrick and Riley. Even though I grew up in church I consider it one of my greatest hobbies! I grew to love church I got saved when I was 8 years old, baptized in the Holy Spirit when I was 17 and baptized in water when I was 19. I claim all God's promises and I believe if we use the Bible for a road-map we'll find Jesus is the answer everytime. Like most teens I was in and out of church for a long time but when it came right down to the choices I've made in life God always had his hand on me and protected me and I always came back to him. What an awesome thing to follow Jesus and allow him to have his way in my life! When I was 27 years old that's when I gave my whole heart to the Lord when I realized I couldn't do things on my own. Yes God is good all the time. I have been in choir since 1985 and I love to sing to the Lord especially when I'm in the shower or driving down the road. I started in a church choir in the year 2000 and sung on the worship team at an awesome church called Calvary Christian Learning Center where my 2 youngest kids attended preschool and all my kids were in Missionettes. At this time I am going to a church called Christian life fellowship where my husband and his family go to church. I am still in choir here and I love it! I will sing a special if the Lord lays it on my heart or someone asks me too. One of my greatest desires is to be used of God in music and working with kids.
