Help Holly Go To RADA!

About Me

As some of you may already know, I have been accepted onto the Acting Foundation Course at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
I'm not eligible for any funding as the course is not a conventional Uni course and I am unable to get any sort of loan so am relying solely on savings and sponsorship!
The placement is conditional on the basis that I am a private payer and must come up with the fees (£9900) and living expenses for the year on my own.
RADA is a very prestigious school and the course that they are offering is exactly what I am looking for in terms of my development as an actress, so it would be a great shame if I was unable to attend simply because I couldn't afford the fees. Due to my age although I have been working, I am ineligible for a bank loan. My parents have have given me all their money but athough I am 5'7", in reality I am still seriously short!
I therefore have decided to create a T-shirt displaying all the names/company logos of anybody who wishes to sponsor me. This T-shirt will be worn for one week prior to my starting at RADA and then for an hour before and after any performance that I am in for the next year.
I have also written to businesses, theatres, MP's etc. for support and advice and have made hundreds of phone calls to various charities and trusts.
I really must stress here, that I am extremely serious about making acting my career and I am not motivated by the prospect of becoming famous.
I just want to act because I love it. It is who I am. It is what I want to do.
I'd really appreciate any ideas on other stuff I might be able to do to or people I could approach to raise the cash, and any donations anyone is able to put forward would be deeply valued (although I know most of you are just as skint as me!)
Thank-you all for being so supportive!
Love Always
Holly
