In the late 70's, with the late Larry Cunningham at the wheel(www. myspace. com/larrycunninghamtribute), MERLIN dominated the music scene.
Eddie Brenaman joined with Larry, Along with Tom Bettini of Jackyl fame, in 83'. Merlin/Apprentess toured many years up and down the east coast, sometimes playing 300 days a year.
Opening and headlining for many national acts, Merlin has had many high profile musicians over the years, locally and nationally known. With the addition of Ron Wiginton in the early 90s', merlin made the metamorphises from metal to country/rock and thus began MERLIN GANG. Ron played with everybody... and their mama's.
