Born and raised in the Bronx, Warren C. Fields started playing piano at 8 years old. Growing up he studied jazz as well as classical music and composition. He studied with many notable musicians including Eric Reed, Rachel Z, Don Friedman, Andy Milne, and Robert Glasper. In 2003 Warren participated in the NAACP's ACT-SO competition and won gold medals in 2 music categories on the national level, Jazz and Composition, as well as winning gold medals in all 3 categories at the local level including Classical Music. He received his Bachelor's in Jazz and Contemporary Music at New School University in 2007. His playing style roots from many jazz influences including Herbie Hancock and Billy Taylor just to name a couple. Warren currently performs Jazz as well as Hip-Hop and R&B at many venues in and around the New York City area. He also produces Hip-Hop and R&B in his home studio and has worked with many upcoming independent artists including Jesse Boykins III. "The ideas never stop flowing".
