Lots of good wine, martinis of all sorts and all of that rolled into a great night on the town getting our dance on! Can we stop and have sushi later??? Mmmmmm.....And yet another addiction??....CRAB PUFFS!!! Yummm....*drools*. I love to cook, especially when it's for someone. It's just not the same when it's just you. I'm a huge movie buff and I've seen a lot of them. I enjoy playing video games (still the kid in me and from my nanny days), I love to get dressed up, drink a lot of wine and get my a$$ out on the town to go dancing one night and totally lounge around and watch movies all day, snuggled down under a blanket the next. I was raised on a farm in a small town on the coast and I was thrown into the city throughout my childhood and my adult life. This makes me very adaptable to the best of both worlds. I love nature and getting out and experiencing that. I love camping. I can sew (when necessary hahaha) and at the same time I can handle myself on the pavement of some very large cities that I have experienced throughout my 34 years. I'm ALWAYS up for a great concert!
Honest, exciting, open minded, FUNNY individuals (nothing sexier than someone who can make you laugh *wink*). Someone who isn't afraid to be who they want to be. Someone who is going to "lay their cards on the table" per say. Someone who doesn't believe that what they have or what they do makes them anymore important than the next person. Someone who wants to get out there and do something fun and exciting (without hurting or killing oneself hahha) and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty (in a totally non-dirt or mechanic sorta way). Someone who will take your hand in the most UNPREDICTABLE places and dance with you....No music necessary! Someone....Intoxicating.
Wherever would one start?? My tastes go all the way from Beethoven and the Dixie Chicks to Marilyn Manson & White Zombie. It just all depends on the day. I love music in general. It's a part of EVERYTHING I do on a daily basis. I love to dance and so when I hear a song that moves me, I move. I feel music and music inspires me to do a lot of things, whether it be writing or singing or whatever tempts my mind. I hear the words in music and sometimes, the song can just grab at me. Make me think of something that has happened in my past. Make me think of someone in my life. It's just a whole part of it all. Just to name a few: Coldplay, Lifehouse, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Brian McKnight, Mazzy Star, Gwen Stefani (As well as No Doubt), Depechemode, Damien Rice, Citizen Cope.
Man....I couldn't even start naming off names there are so many. I'm a movie buff. I love to watch movies. Whether it be at the theatre or at home. I like movies in all different genres. I love to laugh, I love to cry, I love to be FREAKED out and have my heart jump outta my chest. I love watching horror movies. I love watching them SO much....That I will LITERALLY wait until it's dark, turn off all the lights and wait to be scarrrrrrrrrrrrred!!! I've been watching them for so many years, there don't seem to be that many that I feel have been well made enough to scare the beejeesus out of me though. The ones that scare me the most always end up being the ones like "What Lies Beneath" or "The Others". Suspense movies. One that DID freak me out at a younger age was Alien. My parents had watched it at the theatre and when it came on TV...They sat down and watched it with me and my sister. After that thing came out of that guy's chest...I thought...I was going.....to die. I decided to go to bed (my room was in the basement)...Man...What a LONG walk THAT was. So I left my light on and turned on my radio. Bad reception in the basement damnit. So there was so much static....I SERIOUSLY believed that movie was coming through my radio! hahahahaha. Doesn't even scare me that much now. I definitely like horror and Sci-Fi movies.
CSI (all of them), Law & Order (all of them) LOL, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan, 2 1/2 men, Will & Grace, South Park, Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Dateline NBC and 60 minutes. My favorite channels are The History Channel, The Learning Channel, Discovery, A&E, National Geographic and Animal Planet. *whispers*..I love animals :) The shows that I love and miss: Friends, In Living Color, Frasier, Sex In The City, Ally McBeal and Dave Chappelle.
Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz, Michael Crichton, James Patterson, Anne Rice (yummy...I have a thing for vampires). I like books that can basically scare the beejeesus out of me! I like to read about true crime (I know...I know....I'm psycho...What's WRONG with me???). I like erotic literature as well! Hey...Who doesn't?? It's like porn in letters! *evil grin*
Superman.....No wait...No no no...It's Spiderman! Ohhhhhhhhh....Wait a minute!!! It's BATMAN!!! And I have the Batman signal to prove it!! Please don't make me take it out! *sighhhhh*....I found my batman. I feel rescued and safe......Everyday! :)
