Sebastien 義真 Cyr

My name is Sebastien 義真 Cyr. The 2 Chinese characters are my Buddhist priest name which means in English Obligation to the true. This name is pronounced Yizheng in Chinese and Gishin in Japanese.I will take the following lines to introduce myself to all of you. I was born and raised in the province of Quebec in a French speaking family and since my youth I was attracted by Asian culture.I have lived and studied in Japan and China and I am now currently living in St-Jerome in the province of Quebec 45 minutes north of Montreal with my wife and newborn Daughter. I spend my time in between my daily work as a Network tech and serving in my free time as a Buddhist priest with an overall focus on Suizen and Shomyo practice in our little Dojo at home.
