Camden’s annual festival celebrating the passion, beauty and diversity of Latin American music ~ 19th June - 18th July 2009
We have now finalised plans for The Green Note Festival of Latin Music 2009, which will run from 15th June – 18th July 09. Now in its third year, this year's event will build on the immense success of past two years. We are proud to present yet another vibrant and eclectic line-up, which again will showcase the cream of London’s Latin musicians, and also feature some key exponents of Latin American Music from around the world.
We will be welcoming many fantastic musicians and special guests who will be playing as part of this festival. As usual, you can expect a wide range of styles – from the traditional to the contemporary- with many different Latin American countries and genres represented: from classic styles such as Brazilian Samba, Argentinean Tango, Colombian Vallenato & traditional South American folk, to contemporary Latin fusion or infectious Salsa beats and Cuban grooves, guaranteed to get you dancing!
All events will take place at Green Note, 106 Parkway, London NW1 7AN.
Doors open 7pm.
We strongly recommend buying advance tickets for these shows as tickets are limited and they are likely to sell out. Tickets for all shows are available by clicking here , or in person at the venue (during opening hours)
