I love to write, sing, dance, chill wit my crazy ass sisters, listen to music, and read. In other words I'm a big ol' dork that has nothing better to do, but I'm ok with that.
For real I would finally like the chance to meet my soulmate. I would also like to meet Maya Angelou, Mary J. Blige and just about anyone that can provide me with wisdom. OH YEAH! I LOVE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!
Justin Timberlake is on the top of that list. I'm a big listener of R&B like Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Trey Songz, Ginuwine...that list goes on and on. I listen to a lot of old school R&B: Bobby Brown, Al B. Sure, New Edition, R. Kelly (his stuff from the 90's though), Freddie Jackson, Gerald Levert...I think I'm old school at heart, but I still listen to a lot of rap: Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Chamillionaire, Twista, and a whole lot more. But don't get it twisted because I listen to System Of The Down, My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Korn...my taste in music is broad...I'll listen to anything.
Wow! I am a movie fanantic so I can't even go there with the movies. But I like anything with Will Ferrell cuz dude is HELLA FUNNY! But some of favs would be Selena, Corrina Corrina, Mississippi Masala, Grease, Four Brothers (great movie...two thumbs up), Bad Boys 1 & 2, Baby Boy, Menance II Society, Hitch, Final Destination, All About The Benjamins, Soul Food, America's Sweethearts, Serendipity, Fools Rush In, Love Jones, Don't Be A Menance To South Central While Driking Your Juice In The Hood, Friday, 40 Year Old Virgin, 13 Going On 30, Love, Sex, & Eating The Bones and SO many more.
I like those crime solving tv shows like Law and Order, but of course Dave Chappelle would be at the top of that list along with the best tv show in the world...CHEATERS!! Nip/Tuck is good...Rescue Me, Will and Grace, Reno 911, South Park, Family Guy, Boondocks, that new show on BET The Corner, Girlfriends, and Monk.
Wonderland Avenue, Sula, Disappering Acts, A Day Late And A Dollar Short, Turning Angel, Island of the Blue Dolphins(I read that book in 4th grade and still love it), I Know Where The Red Fern Grows(another old school classic), anything by Sandra Brown and John Grisham.
I look up to my oldest sister in many different ways. Any successful black woman...any woman for that matter is a hero in my eyes.
