When I was a eight years of age I was forced to watched my family murdered by a band of mercenaries, after witnessing the brutality unleashed upon my parents they turned thier attention to me. Instead of killing me they beat me with anything they could find lying, after awhile I could no longer feel the pain from every blow they struck upon my small body, but the evident sound of bones cracking with every hit filled the room, the vicous beating I had recieved from these horrid men brought me to the brink of death. Once they had thier fill of amusement with beating a defenseless child, they set ablaze my families home and left me for dead, but before the roof collapsed in upon me I managed to crawl out to the woods where my now broken body passed out of pure exaustion. I awoke a day later in the care of a traveling surgeon who noticed the billow of smoke comming from my families now smoldering house, he mended my wounds and offered me to stay with him till I was able to make it on my own, I chose to take my chances with the road ahead for you see the time I spent recovering my mangled body all I could think about was vengeance on the men who butchered my family and destroyed my home the images of thier faces burned into my mind. I spent the next twelve years wandering the lands working at various taverns and farms gathering any information to the location of the men who tortured me. I learned that three of the men died during the course of time from various means, I also picked up numerous skills and talents with swords, daggers, and various poisons throughout my travels. I am now twenty-two years old and have managed to track down the remaining two men as I tended bar at a local tavern, I watched, listened, pretended to be thier friend just so I could learn where they made camp. I waited till nightfall and followed them back to thier camp, once they passed out from thier drunken stupor I silently made my way closer to thier camp till I was right next to them. With quick swift motion I slit thier throats hearing the gargled sounds of thier voices as the blood flows from the open wounds I have inflicted, after a moment there was silence they were dead my quest for vengeance is complete then something caught my attention, the silence wasnt just from thier corpses but from all around, there was no sound at all not from the rustling leaves from the wind, the crickets, not even creaking branches. From behind I heard a low shallow voice, I turned to look and there stood a woman dressed of eastern fashion she had a dark complexion and held a kukri in her left hand as if she was ready for a battle. I questioned the woman on what her business was in the woods and what she had seen her only reply was that she had been watching me for the past 10 years, I ponder on why such a woman would be stalking me for so long......then it dawned on me. Before I could say a word she spoke in a low tone, "Yes I am an assassin, I have been given the duty of my clan to recruit new members and you have proven yourself quite well". Recruit? Clan? What are these things you refer to I asked, she simply answered that she offers a erternal life of danger, and rewards if I took the offer if I did not she would have no choice but to kill me. So I was placed in a situation where I could choose a eternal life or immediate death, before I gave her my answer I asked what would I learn if I chose to take the invitation, after telling me wonderous skills and abilities no mortal could ever have. I agreed to her proposal to join her clan I then followed her to where my transformation took place and my training began, its now been four hundred and thirty-six years and I have become one of the most feared and notorious assassins to date. I have aquired a weapon with a black blade that has four gems imbedded in its pommel a sapphire, ruby, emerald, diamond this blade is known only as the Riven Blade, it has the ability to focus the elements into the blade itself.
