LET THE ARMY HELP PAY FOR COLLEGE

In the Army, we will do very little to help you reach your full educational potential. Consider these facts:

In order to qualify for college aid, you must pay the Army $100 each month during your first year of service. If you miss even one payment from your approximately $700/month paycheck, you will not qualify. Two thirds of recruits get no college aid from the military. Most people in the military do not have time to attend college while in the service.If you don't enlist, you can easily get civilian financial aid through Federal Student Aid, which will pay up to your entire tuition.

Both your income in the Army and any military financial aid you do receive will disqualify you from most, and probably all Federal Student Aid.
For example, if you're eligible for $9000 in Federal Student Aid, and the Army grants you $9000 worth of student aid, it replaces what you would have received from Federal Student Aid. Do the math:
As a Civilian:
+ $0 from the Army
+ $9000 from Federal Student Aid
