Shinehead is the latest additions to the stellar lineup for the 'One Love, Reggae Salute 08' concert that takes place at Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603W Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida on July 27, 2008. Shinehead will join roots, reggae singer Luciano, Glen Washington, Everton Blender, Tony Tuff, Dez I and Mikey General as headline performers. Shinehead has been a staple on the reggae/hip hop since the early 1980. He came to prominence with the underground hit "Who The Cap Fits" that garnered rotation on urban radio that secured him a recording contract with Elektra Records. He has release a number of popular singles including "Jamaican in New York" - a cover version of Sting's Englishman in New York. Also added to the lineup is Ginjah, whose talent was unearth by reggae crooner Beres Hammond. Ginjah is very passionate about his music and is making an impact in the industry with an ever expanding catalogue. Five percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to 4C for Children - an Orlando based non for profit organization.
