From the Uneasy Records myspace:
Thanks for checking out Uneasy Records. We are a totally independent donation-based record label. In a time when the music industry is struggling to redefine itself, our goal is to help hardworking artists get their music discovered. We're inspired by the many indie label and DIY greats and, like them, we've decided to try something different. Please feel free to download the music and give whatever you can in return. Any money you donate through this page will be given to the artist you specify, minus a small percentage for label costs and advertising. Thank you for your support and please check back often, as we'll be adding new music all the time.

THE WADING GIRL
The Wading Girl EP
"Featuring a good-time deep-down south free spirit sound (think Mofro meets Flatt & Scruggs) that would liven up any place they were playing, Billy, Josh , and Sarah are a perfectly matched trio of artists, each allowing the other to sing their story and speak their ideals. Excellent...highly recommended." - Local Vertical
"Rural tunes from Roanoke, Virginia, are brought to you by The Wading Girl. Billy, Josh, and Sarah recorded their stuff as is, using church like organ, fiddle, sparse percussion and the usual suspects like harp and acoustic guitar. They sound like the missing link between The Animals and Eric Burdon & War. With nasal story telling and serious concerns about the state of things in the US of A (listen to Empty Boxes) The Wading Girl are ready to make some waves in the Americana folk rock pond." - Here Comes The Flood

The Miriam Demos

"The Wading Girl deal in the deep, dark south: religion, politics and booze of course. There is a live spontaneity comprised on The Miriam Demos that brings these songs to life... with something real and powerful as they inject their songs with a wonderful and free spirit." - Sound as Language
"'The Miriam Demos' is a quick-hit, six-song EP that showcases the band's strengths: tight melodic writing with enough sonic edges to cut the folk-rock scene to ribbons." - The Roanoke Times

Don't Think I Never Loved You
"These kids can give you loud, rockin' guitars with great hooks or they can dial it back a notch and give you soft melodies and heartfelt lyrics." – My Old Kentucky Blog
"The genius of the Wading Girl is that the band makes it look so easy, as if writing sparkling, perfect pop was as pedestrian as purchasing stamps." – The Roanoke Times
