About Me
This myspace is kept up by Ken aka http://www.myspace.com/zillah_zombie. I am the cousin of Blake and Susie (owners of Rod Craft).Attention 20 year old chicas. Rod Craft is a 20 year old COMPANY not a 20 year old dude who has a hot rod. A hot rod that not too many 20 year olds can afford too have or even dream of having. So please read further before asking to be our friend. nd if you are just out collecting friends and do not share our interest, don't bother.Rod Craft, Inc. has been building and fabricating Drag Race & Street Rod chassis' for over 20 years.Blake Espinoza, Rod Craft owner & operator, has over 15 years prior experience in a local fabrication shop as the leadman in the layout & programming department. Blake helped start this shop and was part of it becoming one of the largest manufacturers on the West Coast. While there, he learned and taught, flat pattern layout, CNC Laser, Punch Press & Press Brake G-Code and Programming. With that, also came his experience with AutoCad 2000 drafting. That experience, coupled with his 25+ years of welding & fabrication, allows us to do our own "Research and Development" of our chassis parts as well as our assembly brackets & fixtures. With these skills, we have designed & proven our own Air Ride and Gasser Chassis as well as our IFS Coilover and Adjustable Rear 4-Bar suspension for our Reproduction Willys Coupes & our soon-to-be-released '40-'41 2 dr. Sedan, specifically at the stance we desired. In February 2002, Rod Craft, Inc., purchased the Willys Coupe side of IDA Automotive and moved it to Yakima, WA.With our fiberglass shop in-house since the fall of 2004 and the move to the larger 5,500 square foot facility, this gives us better control of the quality, as well as turn around, on our replacement body parts. Also, with the experience & talent in the tooling and mold repair department, we have been able to improve the fit-up of our cars as well as add new parts to be available... Such as our 2 dr. Sedan project that we put forth in late 2005 and is soon to be in the tooling stage and available in the Summer of 2007.With this said, we offer the flexibility to be able to build your Willys Project to your specifications like no other manufacturer out there.
