Myspace Layouts-----For years I have been an avid admirer of nature and spend as much time dissapearing into the forests and road tripping to new places as I possibly can. I am truly at my most content when I am as far away from civilization as I can possibly be. I try to visually recreate that feeling of being at one with nature and the great outdoors and take a small piece from the essence of those moments in time to deliver that same feeling through my acoustic music. It all finally came down to: share my tunes with the world, or no? ----And so I did. Hope you enjoy.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------At just a little above the age of five Christopher Curren received his first and only acoustic guitar lessons that were given to him by his father. However, at that age he wasn’t interested in being dedicated enough to learn an instrument, so nothing became of it at that time. He then about ten years later picked up on attempting to play stringed instruments again. While sometime in his early twenties, Christopher viewed a recording of a visual performance of the Seville Concert from the Royal Alcazar Palace, an instrumental performance by one of today’s reighning masters of classical guitar, John Williams. Christopher then adapted part of the classical strumming style that he witnessed by watching this performance, along with tidbits that he remembered his father demonstrating and threw those technique impressions into a nature oriented, mystically ambient, celestial acoustic, fantasy guitar sound. Now at thirty four years of age, Christopher plans in the very near future to make cd's of his acoustic music.
