After many nights of playing at The Devine Wine Cafe in downtown New Braunfels, Ron Cruz and Jon Walske decided that they wanted to put a band together. Fortunately for them, they were lucky enough to know guitar vertioso Roger Tuttle.
Roger was well known for his vast and great playing abilities, and his talent for being able to play any solo by Jimmy Page. Ron and Jon knew they had found what they were looking for...After recruiting Luke Lebonte on the bass, the foundation was laid.
So after many practices, and many cases of beer later, the Hill Street Sounds were born.
