About Me

Randy Threet has had a long career that has spanned many genres of music. He has had the great blessing of sharing the stage with some amazing talent and touring the world. He started his career playing bass and singing back up with such artists as Larry Boone and being band leader for then female vocalist of the year Pam Tillis. He then went on to play with various artists including Trisha Yearwood, Buddy Jewel, Daryle Singletary,Deborah Allen, Pirates of the Mississippi, Blackhawk and more. He has toured overseas in support of the men and women of the military which is something that is very important to him; he supports our troops every chance he gets. Randy has performed on many albums as a session player here in Nashville, and has appeared on various television programs such as Good Morning America, David Lettermen and The Tonight Show. He performed for a season as the bass player and harmony singer in the USA Network's Nashville Star Show. He can be seen in several CMT videos. Randy writes most of his own music. He writes everything from country, southern rock, to Christian music. He even occaisionally gets to get back to his blue grass roots by playing his banjo such as when he got the privilage of sharing the stage with Charlie Daniels on the 07 Volunteer Jam Tour. He is currently touring internationally in The Southern Rock Band "The Outlaws". His song "Almost Home" that he co-wrote with his wife Alex, will be found on their new CD "Once an Outlaw". Randy throws his heart into his Indie project, called Triple Shot, that he has formed with Mark Matejka of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Kimberly Moses a Singer/ Songwriter of Nashville. The powerhouse vocals in this three part harmony brings down the house when they perform around Nashville. Randy plays a mean bass, displays a wide vocal range and brings great energy every time he takes the stage!............... .................................................... ............................................................ Everyone please take the time this weekend to honor those men and women, past and present, who have given so much to this country of ours. We should honor them every day. God Bless them and their families.................................................... ..........................................
