About Me

i'm a simple girl who loves to get dressed up every once in awhile...i feel most comfortable in jeans, a beater, and flip flops...and a hoodie if its cold, but i do love wearing heels and dresses when the occasion calls for it...i recently graduated with a BA in psychology and minor is sociology and am now pursuing my masters and credential in school counseling...so yes...i will be at csudh for another two or three years...GO TOROS!!! haha i LOVE trips to disneyland...did you know california adventures has THE best margaritas? well, they do..hehe...i love sushi and steak...vegetables and salads are yummy too...i tend to live in the moment and can be rather impulsive, like randomly purchasing an expensive item or cutting my hair...how do you think i got my tattoos? haha (btw...not something i regret) i'm stubborn as hell, and won't be swayed once my mind is made up...i'm not into the party scene, i would rather hang out with a few good friends instead, although i have become quite the hermit lately...i'm the sarcastic or blunt one of the group who says what other people are thinking but don't say aloud, which comes off as mean, but people tend to find it entertaining, or so i've been told...if i look bored i'm probably not...i'm just listening intently or observing people...first impressions make a lasting imprint on me, so if you make a bad one, i probably won't give you the opportunity to make a second...and if you ruin the image i have of you already, you better be willing to apologize or else it's adios...and that just about sums it up...

Heroes:

Heroes are a socially constructed idealology...we create them in our minds only to be let down by them later when we realize they are human just like us and make mistakes like us...rather than have impossible expectations of our "heroes" we should see them as who they are...an average person who achieved something amazing. (thoughts in response to flags of our fathers...great movie with a really good moral)

I’m Finally Free!!!

I am officially done with this blah semester...now i just have to wait for grades to post on wednesday, but i have a feeling my 4.0 is ruined...sorta my fault and sorta this lame teacher...but oh well...

i hate group projects...it's always that one person that ruins the entire thing...i hate it when people think they are brilliant, but are complete dumb asses...you can't tell them they are wrong cuz t...

JABBAWOKEEZ!!! Status quo didn’t stand a chance...they shouldn’t have even been in the finals, kaba modern should have been, but they couldn’t have two west coast teams so they rigge...

a little reflection...

came to a realization today... i made a decision, and now i guess i'm dealing with the consequences...however, i'm still deciding whether or not those consequences are actually leaving me better off.....

another update...

mom's 2nd surgery went ok...everything came out benign so that's really good news...n/e who...now she's at home recuperating...we find out next week if she still needs radiation and chemo... so...

mom went for her check-up and to have her stitches removed...gotta go back to surgery tuesday to remove some lymph nodes and then its radiation and chemo afterwards....so if you could just send us you...
