EVIL COME, EVIL GO

About Me

In May 2008 Evil Come, Evil Go was created as a side project by the minds of Kire Lestat and JJ Snares. The project stemmed off of the love of the horror genre from the two who had both been previously involved with bands of the genre. Snares would take up drum duties and given his background of metal/hardcore drumming gave a sound to ECEG that was familiar yet very different to the genre of horror rock. Kire Lestat who had been playing guitar for years took his natural position as the lead guitarist of this new horror rock band providing speed, accuracy, and solos that would slay any demon. With the guitar and drums set to go, the two needed a voice for the band, and called upon Don D. Domino, who also had a background in the music scene in San Antonio, and who had worked with both Lestat and Snares in previous projects. Domino gave the band a voice from that of a husky baritone voice to a falsetto vocal ability. This definitely gave ECEG something different to offer the genre of horror rock. While in the writing process the three were searching for a bass player, Domino invited close friend Grave Rob Schneider, being a fan of the three’s past work, the young bass player was eager to try out. After an impressive audition, Grave Rob became the newest addition to ECEG. Soon after, ECEG performed their first show apart of the first ever Nosferatour on their San Antonio date with great reception from the crowd! After that show, ECEG had performed a number of shows including sharing the stage with Gorgeous Frankenstein( Featuring Former Misfits Guitarist Doyle and former Misfits drummer Dr. Chud)! That night, the band released their first E.P entitled “Never Sleep Again” which features four tracks that will be on their upcoming album “Evil Come Evil Go I: THE BLACK WIND”. Given the bands influence of “old school” heavy metal, ECEG felt that the band was missing another element and needed a fuller sound. With that in mind, they began their search for a rhythm guitarist and found one in ZZ Zomboa. Zomboa made his debut on November 30th, 2008 when ECEG fulfilled a dream of theirs and many other bands within their genre by opening for THE MISFITS, a feat uncommon for bands that have only been together less than a year! Recently, ECEG gained a new member since the departure of their former bass player by adding Vincent Christ to the band, who's powerful bass playing has added a fresh sound to the band, and with this line-up there will be more shows to come! It’s time for Evil now, it’s time for black winds to howl, it’s time for EVIL COME, EVIL GO.
