David is accustomed to hard work. He’s a carpenter by trade but he’s a singer/songwriter by birth. When he doesn’t have a hammer in his hand you can almost guarantee he’s got his guitar within arm’s reach.For David, it’s as much about the words as it is about the music, and it’s all about bringing glory to God. David is primarily concerned with being a willing servant who uses his talents to bring God glory.Although David, the son of a preacher, grew up in a loving Christian home, he rebelled and spent a few years in the “far countryâ€. Like most prodigals, all of his searching led him back home. David confessed his sins to the Father and discovered that you can come home again. After years of chasing illusions, David began pursing God and seeking to know Christ more and more.David soon became as his brother used to call him a "witnessing machine", sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with nearly everyone he met. He joined the choir, taught Sunday School, cleaned the church; anything to serve. David did it all out of this rediscovered love. Through his willingness to serve David found an untapped talent - his ability to write and sing. Today David’s passion for serving God is poured out through the songs he sings. Whether its leading in the worship of God on a Sunday morning as part of a praise team or singing at a youth service with a band, one thing is clear, David wants everyone to know that Jesus is more than just some guy mentioned in some old book. “Jesus is alive, his mercies are new every morning, and his grace is free.â€Plain and simple; David sings and writes that Christ may be lifted high and you may be drawn to the Savior.God has also blessed David with a loving wife, Aimee, and a beautiful daughter Samantha.
