Soul de Marin hails from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He started his dj career in 1996. His first big performance was in the legendary dutch club Nighttown. He reached his highlight from 1998 till 2000 with his typical Funky, Jazzy but strong Bumpin House music. He performed at Beach Pop a festival with over 15000 visitors and in 1999 he won the Rotterdam SL1999 Dj Championship. He shared the booth with (mister House Music himself) Eddie de Clerq, Marshall Jefferson, Joost van Bellen, Fatboy Slim, 100% Isis, Dj Jean, Michel de Hey and Miss Monica.Till 2005 he performed in all big clubs in the Netherlands. To mention a few: Escape, Maastheather, RoXy, Club Seven, Winkel van Sinkel, La Xala, Sinners, The Thalia Lounge, and many more. Also international success was obtained. Soul de Marin performed in Russia, Croatia, Spain, England, Belgium, France, Poland and Turkey.After a break of 2 years Soul de Marin is back. And in what kind of way!! His reputation as a great producer is crowing in rapid tempo. His sound is his trademark. The sound is jackin, jazzy, bumpin but soulful and that promise a great time on the Dance floor. With his first release he reached 1 at the jackin house sales chart and with his first solo EP he reached 3.
