Steven Hitchens Street Team

Steven is a UK singer/songwriter who lives for music and performing.
He grew up in Surrey, fondly remembering listening to the likes of Madonna, the Spice Girls, and of course the great divide of Blur and Oasis. 90’s Britpop… How good was that? That was what inspired him to perform.
Steven started writing songs when he was ten, with a great succession of unheard hits. “Blue Blueday” and “Extinction is Forever” are amongst others that hopefully will never surface again.
When Steven’s family were lucky enough to own their very own luxury static caravan in Bognor Regis, the fun really began. Steven was poached by the holiday villages’ entertainments team, where at the age of 15, he worked crazy hours of 9am -2am. He did it for his love of performing.
As well as performing in nightly cabaret shows, Steven also worked with the kids, organising games and activities, and dressing up as the adorable Bradley Bear!
Steven then went on to tour Holland schools singing jazz and swing covers.
In 2004, Steven took the plunge. He moved to London, where he went to drama school, and where many of his songs were written.
After leaving drama school Steven started to focus more on his music and in November 2007, he met up with singer/songwriter/producer Ben Adams to begin writing and recording for his debut album.
