NEW TUNE BY INNATE CHECK IT OUT ... NOW

It all started a few years back when bare talented headz in Southend were doin their ting. Crews such as Dirry Cash, 3.R.D & Joel's Army were formed. These groups produced some sik R&B/Hip Hop tracks as most of the people dwn ere are influenced by American music. None of the groups had any female members so d femalez watched frm the side lines whilst the men were at work lol. As the years went on, the hype either died down or turned into beef, n so some crews began to break up....and some just stopped producing tracks. At this point Innate were just singing behind closed doors, trying to be good enough to jump on one of the dude's tracks loool...i.e - Rymez. As people went to his yard 2 record, we used to nag him so much cz we figured that if we gon get anywhere then working wif Rymez was the key; key to constructive criticism and advice on becoming better singers. And then errthang changed………HE MOVED, n took our hope & confidence with him looool. Meanwhile the grime scene started to escalate, and Laydee Sparq, at 15, took interest in the music. She started spittin n writin her own bars and soon owned a book full of lyrics. In the early months of 2008, we visited Dirry Cash’s myspace and heard a few of their tunes from back in the day. Along with other british artists, their tracks boosted our confidence and so we invested in a mic, a pop filter screen, and got a recording software. This wasnt enough to produce good quality songs so we started and are now recording proffessionally at a recording studio.Why Innate? As sisters the name Innate is something we both came up with and it basically means that our talent is not established by conditioning or learning but is purely natural through inherited qualities.
