Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone (West Africa), the once quiet first born child matured into a wordsmith that has been getting the attention of his new residence - Charlotte, North Carolina. At the age of 9, due to family issues, Versus became a poet, expressing his anger and frustration with words. He mastered the art form and focused on its continuing growth as part of his life.
Through the trials and tribulation of the infamous 12 year "Blood Diamond" Civil War, Versus immersed himself in music and his studies, acquiring a Bachelors' in Civil Engineering from The University Of North Carolina in Charlotte and an MBA from Winthrop University. His life experiences shine through his lines, with him, "there is no need for the grapevine the source is available for comments, requests, or hate mail."
