== Origins ==Jamie Young and Adam Sharpin met following separate yet identical quests to discover the hidden meaning behind everything. Their journey took them to the centre of the Czech Republic, where they learnt very little due to their severe ineptitude. Despite this they were able to produce a selection of electronic sounds, which they then put into a series of surprising yet satisfying patterns. Their cult following grew rapidly at the beginning of 2009, thanks to what the band referred to as 'sketchy marketing'.== Band Members ==Jamie is an avid supporter of the colour red. Sharpin's allegiances are as yet unknown, but he has been seen openly wearing blue.== Songs ==The forthcoming album 'The Sound of That Sound' will contain 'A.M', 'Flat Sound', 'Spastic Death Rock', 'Blue Majik', 'Mince (Ican'tfeelnobetter)', 'Rock Steady' and 'We Live Today'. Most of That Sound's cult success came though their instrumental songs which they perform live around the South of England, largely at secret gigs. Songs often played at these events are 'Scary Scary Goat Goat', 'Anything Oasis' and 'Is it just me, or is their something strange about Sam Barber'.== Influences ==The band hails Daft Punk as the kings of music, while also being heavily committed to Digitalism and Justice. Their work is also influenced by what they refer to as a 'strange group of vagrants', only a few of which are known to the general public. George Beck and John Porter have collaborated with them on a number of occasions, yet receive no formal credits in the band, whilst Tom Shababi (an early mentor of band) has been completely cut out of the loop by That Sound following their recent success. They recently were the target of public criticism because of this sort of behavior, as well as for presenting a misleading image of themselves.== Other Projects ==The band is currently working on a number of film scripts, which surprisingly are not solely concerned with explosions and pornography.
